Unlike traditional user seat-based pricing, we base our pricing on working hours, making it ideal for businesses with fluctuating staff numbers throughout the year. Whether your team expands or contracts, you won’t need to worry about counting users—just focus on scheduling efficiently.

Free Plan

Price: Free
Best for: Businesses just starting with online scheduling.

Overview: Our Free Plan is perfect for small teams or businesses that need basic scheduling capabilities without any cost. It's a great way to experience the core functionality of Heybegin without any financial commitment.

Discounts

We offer a 20% discount on all annual plans, providing great value for businesses looking to save while committing to a longer-term solution. To take advantage of this discount, simply select the annual billing option when upgrading your plan.

Billing

Billing frequency

Your account is charged based on the billing frequency you select—either monthly or annually.

  • Monthly Billing: If you subscribe to a paid plan during the month, you will be charged immediately for the entire month. If you downgrade your plan during the month, you can continue using the previous plan's features until the billing cycle's end.

  • Annual Billing: If you choose to pay annually, you will be charged for the entire year upfront, offering a 20% discounted rate compared to monthly billing. However, if you exceed your included hours on a monthly basis, any additional hours will be billed separately at the end of each month. If you upgrade your plan during the year, the proration will happen immediately, and you'll be charged the difference for the remaining months in your annual cycle. If you downgrade your plan, there will be no proration; instead, your next cycle’s invoice will reflect the lower rate.

Manage billing

You can easily manage your billing settings and plan details from the Settings menu. Here’s how to access and adjust various aspects of your billing:

Updating Your Plan:

  • Navigate to Settings > Billing > Update plan to:

    • Start a free trial for paid plans.

    • View, upgrade, or downgrade your current plan.

    • Change your billing frequency from monthly to annually or vice versa.

Managing Billing Information:

  • Go to Settings > Billing > Manage billing to:

    • Update your billing information, such as payment methods and billing email or VAT number.

    • View your billing history, including past invoices and charges.

Monitoring Hourly Usage:

  • Visit Settings > Billing to check your monthly hours usage. This section allows you to:

    • See how many hours are included in your plan.

    • Track how many hours you have used since the start of your current monthly cycle.

By navigating through these sections, you can easily manage your subscription, payment methods, and keep track of your usage to ensure you’re staying within your plan’s limits.

Add a VAT number

To add a VAT number, choose the I'm purchasing as a business option on the checkout page when subscribing to paid plans, or please contact [email protected] for assistance.

Change or Cancel a subscription

Workspace admins can cancel subscribed plans from Settings > Billing > Update plan. Subscription updates take effect at the end of the billing cycle.

FAQ

How does Heybegin pricing work?

Heybegin offers three paid plans and one free plan. Each plan includes a monthly fee, specific features, and a set number of working hours that can be logged. If the allocated hours are exceeded, extra hours will incur an additional fee as outlined in the pricing plan. Opting for a higher-tier plan provides more hours and reduces the cost of additional logged hours.

What are hours, and how are they tracked?

Each plan includes a set maximum number of hours per month, which covers all the hours used in your workspace. This includes hours from scheduled shifts and time recorded in timesheets. As your team members log time through scheduling, clocking in/out, or adding timesheet entries manually, these hours count towards your monthly limit. You can monitor your total hours used each month on your billing page. If you exceed the included hours, every additional 1,000 hours will be billed according to the fee specified in your pricing plan. We’ll also notify you in advance when you’re approaching your maximum monthly hours.

What payment methods does Heybegin accept?

When you sign up and pay online can use all major credit cards. For payments via ACH or wire transfer, please get in touch with our sales team.

How does the free trial work?

When you sign up, you are immediately enrolled in the Free Plan. From there, you can choose to start a 30-day free trial of any of our paid plans, which requires entering your payment information. If you do not cancel the paid plan before the trial ends, your plan will automatically continue, and you will be charged according to the plan you selected. If you prefer not to continue with a paid plan, you can cancel before the trial ends and remain on the Free Plan.

Can I downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can downgrade at any time. When you switch to a lower plan, you will lose access to certain features and capabilities once the current billing period concludes. Please note that in some instances, you may need to remove additional locations and positions when downgrading.

Do you offer non-profit discounts?

Yes, we offer 75% off on the monthly payments for the paid plans. Please reach out to us at [email protected]. We'll ask for proof of nonprofit status and the email associated with the workspace, so feel free to send that along with your request.
